Stories with Starlight Return Policy

At Stories with Starlight, we’re committed to ensuring that every purchase brings a little extra magic to your day. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, so we’re here to help with any returns.

Our Return Promise
If for any reason you’re not entirely delighted with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 7 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange.

What Can Be Returned?
We accept returns on:

  • Unused and undamaged books in their original condition
  • Merchandise items, such as backpacks, water bottles, and accessories, in their original packaging and unworn condition

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items:
Due to the nature of our products, the following items are non-returnable:

  • Digital downloads or gift cards
  • Personalised or custom items (such as custom names on cards or books)

How to Make a Return:

  1. Email Us: Contact our friendly team at storieswithstarlight@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Pack Your Items: Carefully package your items to avoid damage during transit.
  3. Send It Back: Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 26/93 Sheehan Avenue, Hope Island 4212, Queensland.

    If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at storieswithstarlight@gmail.com.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method, or, if you prefer, as store credit to use toward your next magical purchase.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
